SUNY Purchase Film?

<p>I haven't been able to find any statistics about how selective the film conservatory is. I've only seen the 25% overall acceptance rate of Purchase, but the film program is probably much more selective. Does anyone have an idea of how hard it is to get in? Also, I couldn't find the date that applicants are told if they've reached the interview stage or not, or when the interviews usually occur. I'm a regular applicant, not early decision. For some reason they only seemed to have information available for the early decision people. Does anyone have any information about these things?</p>

<p>also, how is my portfolio looking so far? I’ll submit a film too, but they want 1-10 pieces so I thought I better add other items as well. I’m not sure about the paintings, though. What kind of thing do you think I should add to my portfolio and what should I not include?
here it is: [portfolio</a> - a set on Flickr](<a href=“http://www.■■■■■■■■■■/photos/51576840@N08/sets/72157625728876218/]portfolio”>http://www.■■■■■■■■■■/photos/51576840@N08/sets/72157625728876218/)</p>

i realize its a few years later, can we have an update? or can someone answer the questions? wooord.

My son’s friend, who wants to study film, toured Purchase, His mom told me that the film school is located in the same building as the dance program and it’s very small. He didn’t like the school for film or the school overall. My son is planning to apply this year for the theater tech program. He visited with his sister and they both liked the school and the program in his chosen area.
