My son auditioned for the Purchase jazz program in mid-February and was told it would be 2 - 3 weeks. We have not heard anything yet. Have others heard, and by what means?
I was contacted by a professor that I already knew beforehand. She said that there was a glitch in the system that sends decisions, and it would be a few extra weeks before they were sent out officially.
Oh, that is helpful to know. Curious - how long ago was that? Just wondering when the “few extra weeks” is possibly over? lol
That was late February. She said they should be sent sometime later in March, but I couldn’t give you a date, unfortunately. Sorry!

Hi, my son received an email from the head of Jazz Studies on March 6, letting him know he was accepted into the program; however, we have yet to receive official word of his acceptance to the college (or any award letter, etc). good luck!
