Super Competitive School...chances? HOW TO GET AROUND IT?!

Ok so this is going to be a little complicated but I'll try to make it as simple as possible. PLEASE help me out.

• I'm finishing my Sophomore year
• 4.8 Cum GPA, 7th in my class
• President of my Mock Trial Club
- Apart of my city's Youth Committee
- On school World Quest Team
- Tutor for Middle Schoolers
- Co-President of CSF
- NHS member (going to run for pres Senior year)
- Junior Classical League member/Latin Honor Society Vice-Pres (With National Latin Exam Awards too)
- Key Club, JSA,
- School's HOBY representative
- Founder of MUN club
- Attending Cornell Summer College 2013
- 1850 on first PSAT ever (taking SAT 2s in a week and SAT next year)

I know I'm only half way through highschool and that there's still time for everything but my school is SUPER competitive we have 6 people tied for Salutatorian, and then 7 people tied for 7th (one of them is me)

My school used to let you take classes out of school to increase your GPA but they stopped that. I just really want to go up in ranking. Does anyone know if there's a way to get around the system? That'a all I want from life right now :P (PS the only reason I'm not 2 was because I was tricked into taking Health Freshman year when it wasn't required)

Oh & my top schools are UChicago and Cornell :P

PLEASEEE LET ME KNOW THERE IS A CHEAT :P

& I’m 100% born Romanian, & and a RFEP if that helps at all. Also volunteered 200+ hours at a camp for orphans 2 years ago.

Class Schedule:
(fresh)
Algebra II, Hon. English, Hon. Latin I, PE, Health, Hon. Bio,

(Soph)
Pre-Cal Hon, English II HP, Hon. Latin II, Photo (Mandatory Art), Hon Chem, AP WORLD

(Jun)
AP Calc AB, AP Pysch, AP Lit, AP Bio, Hon Latin III, APUSH, AP MacroEcon (self-study)

(Sen)
AP CALC BC, AP Stats, AP Environmental, AP Lang, AP Latin, AP gov, AP MicroEcon (Self-Study)

Calm down, kid. xD At the end of my freshman year, I was ranked 11th along with perhaps a dozen other students. At the end of my sophmore year, I, too, was ranked 7th; again, many other students occupied this slot. During my junior year, I moved up to 4th, and then again to 3rd without a tie. Yet, there is a tie for the first spot. You know what that means? I’m prospective salutatorian! My (public) school is competitive, too. There was a massive clusterfuc… er traffic jam at the top with many ties. Now, going into my senior year, I can say things have sorted out and I can breath easy with the pleasant expectation of giving a speech. So take AP’s, get A’s, and score 4’ and 5’s on the exams, and you’ll not only rise in rank, you’ll impress colleges.

Also: MUN means Model United Nations, I assuming. I’ve been doing it since my sophomore year, but I’ve never won an award. I have, however, received high praise from the moderators. One even recognized my a WHOLE YEAR LATER at a restaurante. Another was a teacher’s aid for my AP psych teacher. xD

But let’s just say I don’t move up in Rank but get good scores on my SATs(expecting a 2300) and ACTs and AP Tests should that be enough to get into UChicago or Cornell? LOL & thanks but my school is so scary competitive and a lot of sneaky stuff is going on…because everyone is trying to find a way around this rule. :p

I had to deal with those sneaky kids too… testing out of classes and taking AP’s early. If you get perfect grades like I did, you’re sure to move up, though perhaps not eight spots. Also, I’d MUCH rather have a 2300 and be ranked 7th than have a 2130 and be ranked 3rd. ;)

I got moved down to 8th just recently because kids who were ranked as 2 got Bs…so they had to make room to accommodate them…so unfair! Ugh our school is screwing us over and I understand that however I’m not sure how colleges will! :P
