So, here's the thing. I took the SAT for the first time last December and received a score of 2150, with the score breakdown being: CR-720 Math-700 W-730.

I retook the SAT today. I studied almost exclusively for the CR and W sections, mostly ignoring the math, figuring i'd remember it at test-time. Turns out I was wrong. Horribly, horribly wrong. For some reason this round of Sat Math went terribly for me- I probably skipped around 5 or 6 questions in total, and got 2-3 others wrong. However, I feel very comfortable with the CR and W sections- I'm hoping for a 750-800 in each.

Now, my question is- do most schools superscore the SAT? i.e, would I be able to use the 700 math from my first test and the CR + W scores from my second test? And seeing as my score for the Math section of the October SAT will most likely be pretty bad (any approximations? low 600s?) will colleges take note of this (somewhat) sharp decrease & hold it against me, or will they simply consider the highest of all earned scores and disregard all others?

Thanks for clarifying this :)
