Whats the difference between a college superscoring the SAT and ACT composite rather than just the SAT and ACT?

Assume

1 Time SAT

500CR 600 Math 500 Writing =1600

Then you were really dissapointed

Then you take it again

600 CR 600Math 400 Writing =1600

Now you’re in a dilemma

Both your scores are 1600 but if the college you apply to superscores
You score will be the highest in all three sections from different testing dates

600CR 600M 500 Writing = 1700 T

So now compare superscore (1700) to highest (1600)

Ofcourse the difference won’t always be 100 points it can vary by a lot

If the schools im applying to use superscoring should I just send scores directly when I sign up for SATs or ACTs because even if I do badly or worst than previous tests, the school superscores?

If the school superscores they use all of the scores.

But schools don’t like to see over 3 times per test
