Middlebury requires the Common App Supplement to be completed by 12/15 and the Common App is due 12/31. But I am confused to exactly what must be completed by 12/15 in addition to the Supplement -- do SAT scores need to be requested by 12/15 or 12/31; what about payment?

Somebody on this board must be applying to Middlebury Regular Decision!

For ED, the stuff that was due by 11/1 was just that form where you put what term you plan to enroll etc, and possibly the payment as well. But everything else for ED wasn’t due until 11/15. I’m not sure if it works the same way with Regular Decision, but it probably does

I am sad.

I discovered Middlebury about five hours ago browsing CC threads about foreign language majors. I read about the school on various websites. I looked into the course offerings and special programs. I loved it.
I added it to my CommonApp and set it aside until I’d finished my history homework.

Afterwards, I checked out the CC forum on Middlebury. I saw this thread. It was 1:05 am EST on December 16. So I am sad.

(Now that I’ve lost my chance at this great school, any other recommendations for schools where I can get strong foreign language education in addition to my bio major?)

I’ll bet that Midd will accept your application if you submit it ASAP. Every year there are several apps sent in after the deadline. Call or email them to confirm.

It’s not big deal- they will still let you apply. just send in your supplement asap (no essays, takes two seconds) and it will be fine. You can call them up to confirm I know someone who decided on Nov 13th to apply ED to Midd and the admissions office was nice and supportive. Also, i had so many troubles w/ my application (ED Agreement, Senior Grades…I could go on) and they still gave me my decision by the deadline, even though miscommunication and other errors led to my Senior grades not getting in until three days before they released the decisions…
