In the Common App, it says “address the questions separately.” Does that mean I have to quote those 3 questions and then provide the answer for each in the same document, or write the whole thing in a form of an essay where one paragraph represents one answer? How did you guys do it?

help, people?

What I did was quote each individual question and then answer it one by one on the same document. I think that it is the correct way.

If not, I hope they did not count the questions as part of the word count, haha.

yeah, it seems like the correct way. thanks :)

did people use 500 words as a hard limit? I think I’m more in the 700 range

I stuck to the 500 word limit to be respectful of the guidelines.

I stuck to the 500 limit and answered all three questions in one essay. It differs from person to person.
