i may be reading too much into this, but the first essay prompt (prompt A) says write about an “intellectual experience.” how loose/narrow is their definition of an intellectual experience? for instance, could the experiences of political campaigning, going to an art show, or seeing some other cultural performance be considered intellectual? or do they mean the kind of strictly intellectual stuff that they also mention, like school projects, books, etc.?
yeah, i’ll say it again, i’m neurotic about this stuff.

Their definition is as loose as you want it to be. My “intellectual experience” was definitely not a school project or a book - it was much more out there. As long as you feel like the experience was intellectual, you can write about it. As many people have said in other threads, the whole point of the essays is for them to hear something interesting about you, not to see how well you can answer the question in a bland and boring way.

mine was a school project. seems like they mean anything
