Supplement essay

Is Girls’ State considered an “intellectual experience” I can write about in response to the first prompt?
A. Tell us about an intellectual experience, project, class, or book that has influenced or inspired you.

THANKS

It may be a good thing to write about if you are interested in political science, public policy, history, etc. Probably not if you’re looking in anything other. But yes, I would deem it “intellectual”.

You can choose anything and turn it into an intellectual experience, just explain how it’s so. It’s your explanation that’s important, not the actual topic you’re writing about.

For that question I thought it was either one of the 4 because I wrote about how a book inspired me not a specific intellectual experience. Is that okay?

Of course. The prompt says, “…OR a book…”

Thanks! Just making sure!
