<p>I'm planning on writing some of my college supplement essays during the summer, but I'm afraid that the topic might change on august for next year and I would have wasted time. Does anybody know if Pomona has changed the topic anually, or have been very consistent with the same topic?</p>
<p>They changed the topic between the last two years since. So 2012 entry was different from 2013. Before that I don’t know. I would just work on the main essays for the college ap before that.</p>

Until we know what these changes will look like, we encourage applicants to begin general work on applications, such as seeking out teachers for recommendations, assembling your resume or activities list, and beginning drafts of your essays.</p>
<p>To assist, please find below the new Pomona supplemental essay questions that will appear on the 2013-14 Common Application. Applicants will be instructed to answer ONE of the two options:</p>

<li><p>What has sparked your curiosity in the last year? How did you respond?</p></li>
<li><p>Pomona’s Critical Inquiry course is required of all first-year students, and is designed to be highly interdisciplinary and engaging. Recent class titles include: “Molecules of the Mind”, “The Economics of Sin,” and “Punk: Poetics, Politics and Provocation.” Imagine you were hired to design and teach a Critical Inquiry course. Describe the title of the class, its content, and why you chose it.</p></li>
