<p>For the supplement essays, some colleges ask to "elaborate on an extracurricular activity". By "elaborate", should I talk about what the EC is, or specify on what I have done and achieved, or... what?</p>
<p>You have answered your question. Try to use the essay to show your passion.</p>
<p>Go deeper than you would in a typical resume. Not just what and when, but how and why. Examples: how exactly you were involved, what you accomplished, how it affected you, what the relationships you developed mean to you, how it positioned you for other opportunities, what challenges you overcame, why this was a special experience.</p>
