<p>How long? My letter to roommate essay is almsot exactly 250 words, do you think this is too short? How long are yours?</p>
<p>My roommate essay is about 320 words (1700 characters). Its not verbose, but not too concise. I think I get my point across. If you think you accomplish what your trying to in 250, then you probably don't need to write any more.</p>

<p>The original question has nothing to do with whether my essay gets the point across, I want to know how long your essays are to make sure that they do not expect me to say more. My essay gets the point I intend to make across, but with more space comes more ideas I can convey..</p>
<p>They give you a limit of 1800 characters so I think that space is your's for the using.</p>
<p>Well, what I am saying is it shouldn't matter how long other people's essays are as long as yours meets the bare minimum requirement AND gets the job done. If you feel like you can convey more substantial ideas, go ahead and do it! Mine is a little over 300 words.</p>
<p>Mine is 295 words and close to the character limit :)</p>
