Supplement not turned in by the 15th = lowered chances?

I plan to send in the common app, my supplement, as well as an english essay I wrote and a research abstract by the 22nd-23rd or so. Will not turning this in before the 15th hurt my chances at all? Or is that request just to make it easier for the admissions officers to get everything organized?

It should be fine to send it in all together. Anyway, there isn't much you can do about it now. If it is really important to you, you can call them and let them know that ,although you did not send it by Dec. 15 as they asked, you are sending it now, and you are very interested in Swat, blah-blah-blah...

I don't think it will make any difference at all. The applications are going to be stacked in big piles, waiting to be filed between now and January 15th.

My son was late with the application last year; they had actually extended the deadline to January 15th or something. He sent everything in by beginning of January. He did not have an interview.

But don't count on it being extended this year!!

I sent in the spplement on the 15th, but I forgot the Acknowledgement Card, plus now I have a piece of Academic work worth sending. Should I send in these additions?

If you have not turned in the rest of your application yet, you can send it all together.

I am sending the rest of it online because it is the Common App...

In that case, I guess you can send it in with a note, explaining what it is...

that's what i'm going to do, thanks...

mine isn't turned in either-- i'm sending everything together. dec 15 is merely a PREFERRED deadline. it's not officially due til the 1st.

I turned my supplement in AFTER the preferred deadline for Early Decision and I got in..... :-) Therefore, I think it really doesn't matter that much...
Wish everyone the best! :-)
