Does Harvard care about margins for its supplement? For example, if I am writing a roommate letter that can only fit on a single page if the margins are .9 inches instead on 1 inch, are they OK with that? The word count is around 650.

Check the pdf proof of your supplement to ensure words are not cut-off in the margins. If the pdf is okay, then Admissions will be okay with it was well.

THANK YOU!

@gibby Do you also give feedback on essays?

^^ Sorry, but my schedule does not permit me to give general feedback to student’s about their essays, as good essay writing involves a lot of back-and-forth exchanges involving edits, re-phrasing, re-writing, refining and polishing – something I just don’t have the time for. May I suggest that you submit the supplement that you absolutely like the best. Go with your gut – that’s always the best solution in situations like these!

they don’t care! I don’t even remember what my margins were, and i didn’t use times new roman or anything like that either. If you want feedback, I’d be happy to read it.

OP - please however have an adult read your essays before you hit the send button. If for nothing else than to check for grammatical errors and typos you may have missed. And yes, they will be there no matter how many times you have read it yourself.
