<p>I just realized that on a colleges app supplement, the common app has a limit of 2500 character or upload a document.</p>
<p>There is no mention of a word limit anywhere. Should I have 2500 characters or less, or just write the length I had intended?</p>

<p>Its not clearly stated though. On the paper form (and online) there is no mention at all of a limit and on paper it says "use the additional information section below if necessary." the only problem is that there is no additional section on the paper form...</p>
<p>i wasn't sure if the character limit was a common app thing or college specific.</p>
<p>If you are unsure about how to handle it, then imo ask someone in the Admissions Office at the specific college.</p>
