Supplemental 1st year offer on top of current offer?

<p>Hey I couldn't find it anyone had experience with this. I received a solid fully funded offer in an engineering Ph.D. program. However, I had indicated in a subtle way I was accepted with other offers from similar ranked programs.</p>

<p>So they extended my offer to multiple years and now are including "supplemental 1st year offer". Anyone have indication as to how much that would be? I'm not assuming it's anything huge, but something to cover my moving expenses would be nice!</p>

<p>Ask them! That’s the only want to know for sure. It probably doesn’t cover relocation expenses directly but may top up the fellowship to match or slightly exceed the amount you received at other schools.</p>
