Supplemental Essay~About 500 words?

I've written my supplemental essay, but it's only 434 words. Is this close enough to be considered "about 500 words," or do I need to find a way to make it longer?

hopefully they do not evaluate your essay on “weight” but on what it conveys.

Mine is 751 after the quote. Only a page and a half long but it’s so genuine and it doesn’t drag on or anything. If I cut it down then it would suck, so it’s a chance I’m willing to take.

@luceverita- my essay has undergone several re-writes (with the advice of my grammar-savvy English teacher), is extremely concise, and deals with a pretty heavy personal topic so it certainly has a strong message.

@RockySterling- I’d rather avoid taking unnecessary chances if at all possible.

Any other opinions?

It really doesn’t matter. It’s fine.

Yeah…I’m probably excessively obsessing.
