<p>Would it be appropriate to send a supplemental recommendation from the editor of a newspaper I interned for last summer? I'm just wondering because the directions for the recommender seem to assume the person is a teacher. </p>

<p>He would probably talk about how I worked hard writing articles for the newspaper.. would this be relevant to my application or do they really just want to know what you're like in the classroom?</p>

<p>No, they want to know about YOU, so if he will write an glowing letter, then this would be an excellent outside recommendation.</p>
