Hey everyone! This is my first time posting a thread on CC, and i'm really looking forward to some help!

SO, I have finalized my list of colleges, but I'm in the dilemma of choosing my MAJOR.
I have a choice between architecture and economics, my first choice being ARCH.

HOWEVER, I do not have any portfolio prepared, nor is it possible for me to put together a portfolio in just a month, and well, while i am passionate about art, i haven't been in the practice of exercising my artistic talents in a pretty long while.

Basically, what I'm asking is, should i choose "ARCHITECTURE" as my first major preference if i am unable to provide the school with Supplementary Art Materials?

Does choosing a first preference major reduce my chances of getting into the college?

FYI : NONE of my colleges have SPECIALIZED Arch schools. They do, however, offer Arch programs. [examples include: Columbia, Brown, Dartmouth, Wellesley, Princeton, etc]

I'd really appreciate some feedback ASAP, thanks! =)
