Supplementary Materials on Application?

When reading on Columbia's site about the supplementary materials, the directions recommend attaching a resume of creative works to the Common Application. However, after stating that, they later go on to detail which kinds of works can be submitted (media type) and use the word "sample" frequently.

I emailed them back and only received a link to the same directions I'd already read as a reply.

So, my question is, can I submit a poem that I've had published by my school as my supplementary materials? I haven't done enough for a resume to help my application but I feel like adding some of my creative work (that's not very long either) will help to make my application more three-dimensional.

What do you think, does this follow the directions?

Thanks for the help!

Bumpity-bump

Aw come on. Bump.

I think you’d probably want to submit a writing portfolio rather than a single poem, no?
