Is it a good idea to submit an extra academic teacher’s rec letter for the optional supplementary letter? They said submit if it shows a different side of the person, but I personally want both my chemistry and math teacher’s rec letter.
Unless there is a good reason, don’t. I’ve been told by AOs when I asked when I was on campus that they don’t like reading a boatload of letters. There is a reason why they picked one science/math and one humanities teacher, and not two science/math.
