<p>I Had completed my application and supplements for Stanford and Carnegie Mellon on the last day. My application shows that it is downloaded for both these colleges but my supplement does not yet, it only shows completed, twenty one days have passed. I haven't even heard from either Stanford or Carnegie Mellon over mail Should I be worried???
(PS. one of my friends who had also applied to stanford got an email confirmation from them two weeks back).</p>

<p>Supplements are not downloaded by any college. If it shows “Completed”, then it means you’ve submitted it successfully and they have received it.</p>
<p>As for email confirmation, wait. They have thousands of applications to process so it will take time, and keep in mind that if anything is missing, colleges will contact you.</p>
<p>For CMU.
CMU does NOT send a confirmation e-mail. It sends a ‘Admissions Receipt Letter’ which is mailed (by post, that is) to individual applicants. This letter contains a Application ID of the applicant which can be used to check the app-status on the CMU website.
Since such mail does not reach every international applicant, you can send a e-mail to the admissions office and they’ll give you your application ID. </p>
<p>OR just call them and ask if your app has reached or not. They’ll ask for your last name and DOB and immediately tell if they have your application. By far, this is the easiest way to confirm for ANY college. You’ll know within seconds.</p>
