did anyone else get emailed to participate in some sort of survey?

got it, i didn't do it

didn't get anything. what kind of survey is it?

got it, did it

Got it, just did it.

It's a survey on leadership. You rate your leadership skills as well as your ideas on potential for leadership development.

do you think it affects admission at all?

It says multiple times it doesn't ...

My s got it. Didn't do it.

got it. did it up to halfway, then closed the window. haha.

^^ me too... it got too long

I did it halfway, and then closed the window. But I went back later and completed it. I'm just confused as to why they would send it to all applicants. I mean, what's the point in sending the survey to candidates who might not end up going to CMC? I ask this question with specific reference to the fact that the surveyers(did I spell that right?) intent to follow up on the students who did the survey. Weird.

I believe that survey is done by the leadership institute at CMC. They're doing a longitudinal study to see if CMC really does make people better leaders. So they'll compare students who graduate from CMC to students who got in but went elsewhere and to students who didn't get in. It'll be interesting to see the results (in 20 years or whatever. . .)
