I’m applying to Princeton RD, and responding to the prompt “tell us about someone influential to you and why”

I would LOVE LOVE to talk about my history teacher, she’s the best person I can think of by far…but she’s also writing my Princeton recc.

Do y’all think this would be some sus stuff for adcom? To see an essay about a teacher + the same teacher writing my recc?

Or should I just go for it :slight_smile:

I would say try to make your essay from the heart, with a genuine passion. So if this teacher is someone you truly admire and have specific experiences with and you are able to craft a wonderful essay with a story behind you and this teacher, then go for it!
