I'm going to be a freshman at Georgetown in the Fall, but on a school trip recently I got a 5 day suspension for having alcohol in the hotel room. Will this impact my status at all?

Um, I do not think it would, but I am not sure.
Either:
1). When colleges ask your school for the transcripts, I do not know if they ask for your behaviorial report or anything else.
2). If they just ask for your transcript and stuff, I do not think that they can really find out unless they ask the counselors.
3). It seems unlikely, because it isnt as if you were arrested ( i hope not), if you were, then thats a different story.

If you feel like your school will find out, then I suggest you write to them and explain the circumstances and that it was a once in a lifetime thing and you lost control.. and bla bla stuff like that. Also, call up your school and say " I was wondering whether all the documents that are required from my school include only my transcripts, or is there something else that you need from my school?" Don't blatantly say " Do you need my behavioral record from my school?" That will not be good. lol. So, just ask a more general question. If you want to really know if they get those records or not, then ask your counselor. If you have to, say that you are having a lot of stress and you lost control and stuff like that.. Make it slightly emotional that you really want to go to that college and dont want to jeopardize your career.

good luck!
