Suspension

Two weeks ago I was accused of vandalizing a computer mouse in my school's library. I might get suspended for this. I already got into a good school and sent my deposit in weeks ago. Will I get my admission rescinded. My school doesn't ask about disciplinary actions on the final report. Please help. Thanks.

first don't use the word vandalize- say accidently broke and had to pay for

did you break it? and does the school think you did it on purpose? and is there anyway you can mitigate the damage-

if they KNOW you broke, it apologize, offer to replace it, etc, and say, assist in the library instead of a suspension?

a few more details in order

I doubt they would rescind you, but how you handle yourself in this will determine if the school does indeed suspend you for a day or whatever.

Did you lose your temper and damage it? Where you just fooling around and it happend? Where you rude to the people who accussed you? DId you go, Omygosh, I am soooo sorry, I didn't mean for that to happen, can I pay for it?

Your reaction is important and you can work to not get suspended.

But the college, eh, this is trivial, unless you really lost your temper and THAT is reported...but being rescinded, that is very unlikely over a damage mouse....offer to pay for it and do library time

I like how you posted this in every single forum..

Dude, tampering with school technology is a SERIOUS offense, if not a misdemeanor, or possibly even a felony!

its a mouse...I have broken my mouses/mice before...it not a SERIOUS offense, sure he should may if he did it on purpose and was a fool, but it isn't a computer
