Sustainable Product Design and Innovation

This is the outline for this major:
Graduates are prepared to pursue graduate study or transition directly into careers in product design/engineering, technology/evaluation, planning, supply, production, quality control, technical services, marketing, sales, or other related professions.

I really wanted to do engineering. However, I am not very good at math or science such as physics.
I am going into my junior year at Keene State.
My biggest worry is that this major basically sets you up for a manufacturing type job. I am in courses right now that are teaching us the basic drafting skills and a few model making classes.
I feel as though I am not being pushed.
I am also worried about $$$. Being 3 weeks into my junior year I am worried about getting a job and being able to move up anywhere more than 60-70k a year.
What are the realities with this major are the product design fields still worth looking into?
I am going to take precalc and some physics classes to have it on my transcript.

With a program like this as background you may want to go to grad school for industrial design which is where product design generally takes place (or mech engineering). Alternatively, Computer Science with an emphasis on general CS or software engineering could work.

I looked at your program and it provides a great overview of what is involved from the art of it to the marketing and selling it. See if you can choose one focus area (i.e. product design) to focus on.
