Swat ranked by Washington Monthly

<p>Washington Monthly has published its college rankings. It rates schools based on their contribution to the public good in three broad categories: Social Mobility (recruiting and graduating low-income students), Research (producing cutting-edge scholarship and PhDs), and Service (encouraging students to give something back to their country). Its methodology is a bit different than other rankings so it's worth a look: </p>

<p>Swat ranks second among liberal arts colleges in the "number of bachelor’s recipients who go on to receive PhDs, relative to school size." Overall, Swat is ranked #5 behind Berea, Morehouse, Bryn Mawr, and Spelman.</p>
