<p>Hi. Does anyone know anything about the swim team? Do the swimmers get along and have fun? Is the coach well liked? etc. </p>

<p>Yes,I think they do, however, Wellesley has a very good swim team. Check out last years results to see if you are ‘in the ball game.’ so to speak. My daughter was not within the times Wellesley swimmers get, and so she passed on even trying out. They have a few swimmers who have what I would term as “state times” and many are near that level. My daughter sent her times to the assistant coach, and it was clear they were not interested, but they were very nice nonetheless. Instead, she tried out for crew…and sadly, she was one of only three people out of 100 cut from the lowest team. (Novice). Now she wishes that she had at least given swim team a chance.</p>
<p>I am a pretty good swimmer and am being recruited by some good college teams. I really liked Wellesley and although it is not my top choice, its on a very short list of schools that I will apply to. I will not have time to visit with the coach and with the team and was hoping to hear a little bit about the dynamic of the swim team. Coach Bonnie has a great reputation with other coaches but I wanted to hear from someone who swims with her.
