is it true that in order to gruaduate, one must complete a swim test? what does this entail? a few laps and a float test? also, are there any other peculiar/unusual requirements at W&L?

yes you take it during freshman orientation, its a lap and a float test and if you can't pass it you have to take a swimming PE class

lol, does it matter how clumsy / neat one swims as long as you get to the other end? Afloat for a certain amount of time?

I assume it doesnt and yeah you gotta tread water for like 30 seconds

Hahaha, yeah it really doesn't matter. I'm a terrible swimmer-- 6'3" pure bone and muscle (mostly bone :-P) so I'm "flotationally challenged", and I did my swim test very hungover and still managed to make it. Then I went back to bed :-).

There's no way you're 6'3 Morgan!

False. Measure me.

Morgan is probably 6'2"

I'm 6'4" and am probably two solid inches taller than him.

OK, we'll have to bust out the measuring tape when we get back to Lexington :-)! I'm like 6'2.5". Way to burst my bubble. Jeez.

I just can't believe you're over two inches taller than I am!

The swim test is nothing to be worried about. I did my swim test at 2pm still drunk, after a night that legends are made of.
The test itself is very casual, and with my group they let us out after 3 mins instead of the 5 because they saw that we could all tread water.
