That's USNA, arp. You've been in Annapolis for too long.

haha, yeah probably, i'll be up in ithaca though in exactly 175 days!!!

what level of ability do you have to be at to pass the test?

my interviewer talked about this, all you have to do is swim the length of the pool once freestyle, once backstroke, and another time whichever stroke you prefer, its not really that hard

sorry meg and cornellhotelie, looks like you can only doggie paddle for one of the laps

screams I don't know how to backstroke!

what if you're handicapped? You don't graduate?

yes........

Swimming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

come on, just try it in pool once, its not that hard

it just seems so... unorthodox and random.

does the whole faculty watch this spectacle, or just the lifeguards?

wouldn't that be embarassing if the entire faculty watched you practically drown!

Maybe they'd feel bad, and give you special attention in class. I shall be trying this if I do indeed apply and get accepted to Cornell.

why can't you guys swim!?!! lol

and tmw, most ppl don't appriciate "special attention"

I can't backstroke, I'd better learn how

its not that hard, just practice lots over the summer

I'm just fooling around arp, I can swim. Freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke... It might not look too pretty, but it will get me from point A to point B. :)

celebrian: you have a year to practice floating on your back and kicking/oscillating your rigid legs

good luck

moochy... u can't get your hair wet?

no her hair is made of sugar, duh, it'll become a suspension in the pool...
