Swim

Hey guys,
I'm working on a project that is hypothetically going to develop a device that would allow swimmers to listen to music when they swim. It would be amazing if you could take a minute to answer this survey for me for market research.

Thank you so much!
Melissa

I took the survey. Seems interesting. Swimming does seem boring without music though.

I took the survey, but I’m not quite sure about having a mouth piece in while swimming. I mean, you sort of need your mouth to breathe…

I swim laps in my pool every day for about 45-60 minutes. I have to blast the outdoor radio speakers that I have, because otherwise the smashing of the water is far too loud to hear it. I also can’t do this when my neighbors are around, since I have a rather open backyard as it looks over a lake, and with the volume anybody taking a quiet walk by the water would be rather annoyed. I get some bad looks sometimes. >.<

Meaning: I would love to be able to listen to music while I swim, without other people hearing it.

/end random anecdote.

They’ve already invented this, I think. I remember seeing an ad for it. If I can find it again, I’ll post it here. But yeah, sorry, but someone’s already put this on the market/is developing it to put it on the market in a year or so.

Oh, stupid me–I just read your post again and saw the word “hypothetically.” lol. I really ought to read things more closely…

there’s under water speakers… + i pod case for swimming with straps

I’d buy them. I’m a hardcore swimfreak. I’d like to listen to music while I swim. I always tell myself I’ll look for something on Amazon, but I never get around to it.
