-try a six-beat kick, meaning six kicks per arm stroke
-to work on your rhythm and technique, work with a kickboard and fins.<br>
-take the fins off to work on power, do a length fast and then a length easy, repeat</p>
<p>-arms are more important than legs in swimming, but legs can win you a race at the end when your arms are dead. try dry-land exercises like quad extensions to work on increasing your kicking strength. once again, remember the kick is from the hips and not from the knees. </p>
<p>-your arms are important in maintaing your kicking rhythm, as your kicking rhythm is important in maintaining your arm-stroke rhythm. just try to really focus on keeping everything fluid and as effortless as possible.</p>
