Switched high schools and spanish's don't match up?

Hi guys! This is my first post on here, so my apologies in advance if it's in the wrong place or whatnot.

I switched high schools between my sophomore and junior year and needed one more year of spanish to fulfill the requirement, although the Spanish classes don't completely fit together. I am getting a B in the class, although I am not so much having a hard time learning the concepts, but applying them because they had completely different vocabulary in previous years. It's mainly trouble with nouns, because we learned similar verbs, although it's hard doing a reading section when you have never seen a single noun on there.

Well anyways, do you think I should explain that on my college apps next year? I am really trying my best, going in for help and practicing on my own, although it doesn't seem to make a difference no matter how hard I try.

Thanks!

Trying to explain that would be very close to whining. I would not recommend it. Continue doing what you are doing, getting extra help and practicing.
