<p>How hard is it to switch from chem major to chemical engineering???</p>
<p>how far along are you? the corriculum is quite different. ChemEs take general Chem, OChem, and PChem, but that’s it. Fewer labs. It’s really a small part of the entire curriculum.</p>
<p>I haven’t started yet, just a HS student that has gained admission into UT austin.</p>

<p>Chemistry and Chemical Engineering are very different disciplines. So much so they are not offered in the same school. I.E., SAS for Chem and CoE for ChemE. Don’t let the word(s) Chemistry and Chemical fool you.</p>
