Switching from Finance to Management or Human Resources Management...

Hello Everyone!

I am new on this forum :-).

I am majoring in Finance from UMD, college Park. However, I don't really enjoy the courses that I am taking. Moreover, I don't count on Finance jobs being too plentiful within the next year... I am thinking about switching to Management or Human Resources management.

Is there someone that has taken management major and get successful? What are the opportunities outside for a management major? What are the top schools for management?

Thanks

Wouldn’t it stand to reason that HR would be a bit slow now too?

How about Management, hmom5? Should I continue with finance?

I think this is a bad time for just about anything with the possible exception of bankruptcy attorneys and repo guys, so why don’t you focus on what you will enjoy most and be best at.
