I got accepted to Purdue for a different major than I applied for. I am going to attend. My question is when you are already in that college and want to switch your major do they look at you first or the people applying to come in? Will i be selected first before incoming students?

Unless I’m mistaken, you’ll have to complete general education requirements (which may be pretty much the same for all majors) and then declare you major in your junior year. You will register for the classes you want. Just speak an adviser and register for classes that get you closer to graduating with the major you want.

I never had any limitation on which classes I could register for. I could have registered for art classes every semester and my major was criminal justice.
