switching schools (majors)

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I was looking through the application today, and maybe I am completely blind and this is totally obvious... but...</p>

<p>If I applied to the school of environmental design, could I switch out to the college of letters and sciences? is that possible? the website says that you can switch majors and the uc will try its hardest to make that happen, but does this apply if you are switching schools as well?</p>

<p>Yeah. Quite a number of people switch colleges. All you have to do is fill out a petition and write a personal statement. It's easier to go into LS than it is to go from LS to some other specialized college. But if you apply and are accepted into CED, you won't be able to transfer to LS until your second year. Why not just apply to LS?</p>
