<p>Hi again, this is similar like my other post but i wanted to go in a little more detail this time.</p>
<p>Is it possible to put "undeclared" or something else like "marine biology" and then later transfer to an impacted major?
Is it even possible? Will i need good grades to switch? Are there any requirements?</p>

<p>You can, it's just hard. People already in that major can enroll in the classes they need. Some majors require that you start working on it first quarter of freshman year. I don't know what the requirements are, but I heard it's hard.</p>
<p>and risk wasting a year of learning something you don't like? maybe.</p>
<p>and risk not even being able to get into the major, forfeiting the chance to study what you love.</p>

<p>Doesn't impacted mean that you can get in or out of that major? If thats the case, then you can't transfer into it.</p>
