I'm an international applicant ( so FinAid isn't a determing factor) and I'm really sure about majoring in Art History. Every college has its core requirements but I don't like the fact that we can't really choose our classes at CGS. It seems like high school (especially similar to Belgian high school)

I prefer BU's campus, prestige, Boston. But I have the impression that Syracuse will give me real college classes!

I have not compared the two history departments of BU vs Syracuse, But BU has has the other factors like the Boston Museum of Fine Art, Isabella Stewart Gardner and etc, I think as an art history major…Boston maybe a better place as far as attaining easy access to other attractions as visiting artist shows come in and out often. Also I believe that BU art department is connected with both Lesley College and the Boston Museum of Fine Art Studies program, so it could be broader, so make sure to check that out as well.
