I've gotten into these three schools and I'm not really sure which one to choose! I'm leaning towards Syracuse but I want cc'ers opinions on this as well. I plan to major in international relations (possibly double major with public relations as well)
Syracuse (with 20k)
Northeastern (with 25k)
UCONN (haven't received financial aid/scholarships yet)
Loyola NO (60,000 over four years) (am willing to go, but realllly don't want to)

I’d really like to say UConn but I may be slightly biased. If you’re leaning towards Syracuse then I’d say (in order of rank) Syracuse, UConn, Northeastern, but it depends on a lot of factors. There are pros and cons to each school. But, I think UConn might end up cheaper if you’re concerned about money.

If money isn’t that much of a factor, Northeastern is a no-brainer. It’s in Boston, which is a major city (an amazing one at that) of note, and Northeastern specializes in International Relations and Business.

Money isn’t really a factor now, (it will be in grad school however) and the only reason I’m even considering Northeastern is because I’ve heard rave reviews of the co - op program. Other than that, in terms of atmosphere etc, Northeastern is last behind Syracuse and UCONN. Are the internship abilities of UCONN and Syracuse not up to par with the co - op program?

These are all very good schools. SU is very strong in International Relations and has very good study abroad programs too. Best of luck!

Like poi said, they are all great schools…I would say Syracuse because that is the school that jumped to your mind first ;)

Basically, Syracuse has people I know, people going with me, big time sports, huge campus, is really good at international relations and public relations, (newhouse school) but Northeastern has the co - op program. Is the co - op something I should be willing to give all of this up for, considering all the things it can do for me after I graduate, or will I be fine just getting an internship/studying abroad at syracuse?

Go to syracuse. The reasons are just endless. And it’s so easy to study abroad also. All you need is a 2.5+ GPA

how much will you pay for each? All things being equal I would go to Syracuse.
