I got into Newhouse for Broadcast and Digital Journalism last night! I couldn’t be more excited!!! I also received an annual $10,000 Dean’s Scholarship. Does anyone know when financial aid comes out or would it have been with my admissions decision?
I found the financial aid section on myslice but it says I have “no awards at this time”. Does that mean I didn’t get any aid or is the package still to come?
has anyone heard back from Communications yet?
Still nothing from school of education… also haven’t seen anyone get in yet so that’s a good sign I guess. Has anyone heard back from SOE??

WGPA 3.8, 1510 SAT
I got into Bentley which was one of my top choices 
I have not seen anyone mention that they got into the School of Education so you still ave hope!
Syracuse has always been known as being tight with merit money. It’s tough when other school give it to you and they give nothing. $70k is a tough pill to swallow. Even though its a fantastic school.
In my acceptance letter, it said that Financial Aid would come in a week or so.

No merit aid and pretty bad need-based aid, so probably not attending
Son got into Falk for Sports Management last night. $20,000 merit scholarship. 4.1 GPA 32 ACT Very strong EC and leadership related to major and strong demonstrated interest. We would not have considered Syracuse without Merit so needless to say he is thrilled.
My son got his acceptance to the iSchool on Friday. No merit.
@waitin9272 u asked about stats and merit. S, last name end of alpha. Accepted RD $15k a year. Accepted into 9/9 schools. All gave higher merit. Very disappointed in merit about especially since direct costs increased. Civil engineer, national merit scholar-commended student, 1480 sat, 106.7 avg , school no rank- expect top 4, 10 aps.

This is so irresponsible of me, but I haven’t logged into my myslice since December when I was deferred from Newhouse. So when I did today, i clicked onto the financial aid and apparently I have missing documents which I wasn’t aware about (must have overlooked an email?? idk). Decisions are coming out now, so is it worth to submit forms now? Or should i just wait till i get an acceptance/rejection…such a stupid mistake of me…
