One of the questions on the Syracuse supplement is:
Who is the person you dream of becoming and how do you believe
Syracuse University can help you achieve this?

Does anyone know whether you are supposed to pick a specific person or talk more generally about the type of person you'd like to become? Any suggestions are very welcome!

I had a similar problem figuring it out. I chose to do more of a general sense, but if you feel strongly about aspiring to be like a specific person, I’d go with that! Good luck and best of luck with the application

I got a similar question! Do you think that i should mention a famous alumni of Syracuse and talk about them? Sounds sneaky, but is that smart lol

I think its much more vaguely asking, I answered it saying it more about how I wanted to become a leader and a creative thinker through their programs and stuff more like that.

I believe you have leeway here and can be specific and/or general with your answer. DD chose an individual and wrote about those general qualities she admired and aspired to and how SU could help her achieve her goals. DD was accepted into the dual program at Whitman and Newhouse.
Good Luck to all!
