@SupaDupaFly5 last week they emailed me and sent me my official letter saying that the dean of admissions approved my deferral which I’ve known for over a month already so that was deff a huge let down since i thought it was my admissions letter. They send our their admissions notifications on fridays so hopefully tomorrow or within the next 3 weeks!
Okay cool I didn’t know about the Fridays notification. Yeah I hope I hear back before April.
Same and when I called the lady basically told me that it will take place anytime between March-June
@Iscrewedupinhs11 it’s a rolling admission right or is it based on what major you applied for? Or is it just mostly just chance if you will hear back early. I applied in January so hopefully I hear back before May.
@SupaDupaFly5 i don’t think it really matters for transfer students when you’ll hear back. i know it does if you’re a RD incoming freshman, such as if you applied to a certain school, made the honors program, got a certain scholarship, etc. i know the bulk of their admission notifications will probably come out this week and so on, so hopefully we hear back soon!
@transfer1124 for me it does because other schools I applied to require deposits by May. Yeah hopefully with spring break they will be able to get more notifications out.
@SupaDupaFly5 it depends when you’ll hear back from each school. if you hear back before may 1st then youll need a deposit down by then. but i know for most schools if you hear back after may 1st or right before that deadline, they will give you a different deadline to place a deposit down
@transfer1124 oh okay I heard back from a few schools already back in January so I guess I have to give theme answer by May.

@SupaDupaFly5 Emailed the orange account and an advisor replied and stated that we would receive a notification this Friday through our email. Also he mentioned that int may be placed in spam so do not forget to check that as well.

This is the email I received " Thank you for your email and transfer application to Syracuse University! Transfer admission notifications will be going out electronically to your email this Friday. Please check your spam traps and filters for this email as well, sometimes these emails get displaced in there.
Please be in touch with any further questions."
Yeah I interpreted that email the same way as you as that we would receive our notifications this Friday. Because it doesn’t say start in the email.
Maybe they will come later.
