@SupaDupaFly5 I got it through the mail. It comes with 3 sheets telling what classes they took, how many credits transferred, and just general info about transferring credits
@transfer1124 okay cool hopefully I receive mine tomorrow or Saturday. I’m still waiting on my full financial aid package also.
@SupaDupaFly5 for the spring semester, my financial aid package was posted online 2 weeks after my acceptance (even though i deferred already) … what i’ve noticed with syracuse is that the departments definitely don’t talk to each other haha
Yeah it seems like it is something they need to work on. However, I have to say they are really good at responding back in a timely fashion than most of the other schools I applied to.

@taryn97 it took like maybe 1 month and half maybe two months for me. But foe you migh get decision quicker because freshmen descions are pretty much done.

@taryn97 I ment to say that because they are done reviewing freshmen applications they can pretty much focus on transfer applications now so you might get descion before May even. I would call the admission office and ask them.
@SupaDupaFly5 I did just call them but they said that they don’t have an exact time frame. But they did say that once they have everything they will make a decision as soon as possible. Thanks!

My son was accepted Tuesday–so just about 6 weeks from when his material was sent in until the acceptance notification.
Has anyone else still not received a response? Almost every school I applied to besides SU has given me a decision
I have still not received my financial aid package.
@Transfer529 i keep getting mail saying im accepted but haven’t gotten my official decision letter and I’ve already heard back from 2 schools last week … time to call monday
SupaDupaFly5 My son is in the same position. FA told us he would not get the package before May. We called Admissions last week and spoke with Michele (P?) who works on transfers. She said that if Syracuse was his first choice, he should respond by May 1 because the programs start sending out a lot of information, registration is set up and admissions starts admitting more transfers after the May 1 deadline. She said that if we received the FA package and could not afford to attend, we could get the deposit back if we notified them in a few days (ie don’t wait until July when they are done admitting transfers). So, we took the risk and made the deposit. His second choice school accepted him late, so he has a few extra days before he has to respond. We are hoping we have the Syracuse package before then so we don’t have to double deposit. Fortunately, second choice is a state university and FA is a non-issue. Good luck!
@Meismom thank you for sharing your experience I literally thought I was only one that this was happening to. I was given the same information about the refund. The worst part is that i was accepted a month ago. Were you told when you would receive your FA package I was told either friday april 28th (didn’t receive it) or monday May 1st. Syracuse is my top choice however this experience has left a bad taste. I also would not like to double deposit especially since Syracuse deposit is 500 dollars.
I just got my notification that I got in today just as I found out i got into UConn! Can’t access the AAF yet on my myslice yet but Ill keep checking… need to file financial aid this week. So far 4 for 4 for acceptances 
Received my acceptance today…into a completely different major than what i applied for. I’ve already completed one year of PR studies yet they admitted me as an english major. Slightly miffed.
