Does anyone know when the next wave

Of decisions will come *

as soon as they are made lol

Any acceptances or rejections from the School of Education?

i find it extremely ridiculous the way they do this process. i disagree with the 2 waves of emails. i’m still waiting to hear back from Newhouse. how do they even determine who is in the first set of people notified? it just puts even more stress and anxiety on us.

@edwinh

ive heard nothing from the School of Education either, I hope they come back soon!

@aweeksie

I know! I haven’t heard back from Newhouse either. Good luck to all those who haven’t heard back yet and congratulations to those accepted :)

to ease/increase some of your nerves. i have a friend in admissions who told me that no more decisions will be sent out until thursday. they are aiming to have everybody sent out by thursday.

^ Aren’t they sending it out in waves every Friday, though?

I wonder how many ed apps newhouse got this year and if the number was higher or lower than past years. Anyone know how many students they admit each year?

coasterfreak no this week is thursday, they plan on having every decision out because they close for the rest of the month starting friday

Oh, that’s right. Good luck to everyone, then!

Does anyone know when we’ll hear about ED financial aid?

When I went to visit they said that transferring into Newhouse was very difficult

Does anyone know when the next wave of notifications will be coming in?

Aidolfan: mid january according to [Financial Aid](http://www.syr.edu/financialaid/datesanddeadlines/index.html)
Although it’s interesting that the deadline for the fafsa is 2/1 - will they even use it?

XCCoaster===thanks for your reply concerning the stats. I really appreciate your candor and your thoughts. I understand what you’re saying about not impacting anyone else’s chances, but perhaps, for those that don’t get accepted, your comments, profile and activities might help those that don’t get in ED for future applications and/or those Juniors/late Seniors that will be applying in the future. I wish you the best of luck and happiness in the future and I hope you realize all your expectations at Syracuse.

When do regular decision applicants find out?

Regular decision applicants get notified around mid March.

i got in on friday to the vpa, drama!! has anyone gotten in for drama or musical theater?
