I have been accepted to both Syracuse University and Ithaca College but I'm not sure which is the better choice.
I've been leaning more towards Syracuse but I would love advice or info on what people think about each or which is better academically, socially, etc.
Also, I live far from New York and I couldnt visit either of the campuses so any info on what campus is nicer would be appreciated as well!

Personally I would say Syracuse, because I feel Ithaca is overshadowed by the Ivy Cornell. When people mention the place Ithaca, Cornell will be the first thing that pops out. In terms of Acedemic strength Syracuse also overpowers Ithaca.

Okay yeah I definitely agree, thanks for the input!
anyone else?

Which school at Syracuse? at Ithaca?..and what are you looking for in a school? they are very different environments…

I’d say Ithaca, because the town is much, much nicer than Syracuse. I might be a tad biased though glances at name

Kids love both.

Ithaca is more isolated, I believe. More rural but beautiful countryside. More girls than guys???

Syracuse, bigger campus. Near many more things. Closer to airport to get home.

Son visited both. Hated Ithaca. Liked Syracuse… but each person has there own take, needs and fit to consider. I think Syracuse has more to it and nearby. Big sports too.

Cost?
Major?

Depends on your major.

my twin sister and i are deciding on both, she is planning on majoring in psychology and im planning on going into politics or something like that within the college of arts and science
