T-Minus and Counting Down

Hey ds - hope all is now well with your family. So true that things don't always happen according to our plans. I hope Potterfan remembers my boy at the wall on the 4th.

I am sure she will be at the wall with a bag of candy, and maybe more. I will tell her to look for a former squadmate, and I'm sure twenty eight others will join her too.

Just showed him your post. His response, "Awesome"

I'm really glad I'm going to be here for the 4th. I plan on throwing a feast. ;)

Soaringhi - was just talking with potter and realized she will be home in vegas over the 4th, but she is going to get with the rest of the eight's and make sure he has plenty of goodies thrown his way.

ds - Enjoy having your daughter home for the 4th! He would appreciate any and all treats thrown his way. Hopefully other Eagle 8s will remember him. I'll take you up on that offer for Potter to check in on my girl at swim camp - it would be great for her to have a female mentor at the Academy since class of 2016 is her goal.

Yeah, I should get some of us "Phantoms" together to throw some candy down to a previous squadmate whose's coming back as 2012. Thanks for the idea. Too bad I won't be around though to help (I'll be at home:))

wow, thirty seven more days until I day...time flies!

yea, sometimes way too fast ;)

day 34! anybody else getting a bit nervous?

YES!!! Oh, I guess you were asking the appointees not their moms...sniff sniff.

YES, of course I am getting nervous, especially because I just got really sick and spent a week in bed, so I can't do a pull-up anymore, can't run for very long, and am terrible at push-ups. The only things I didn't lose were flutterkicks and sit-ups, because all the coughing seems to have given my abs a decent workout!

all I can think of is how short of time we all have left, then how few of push ups I can do! Now that tomorrow is my last day of school, I believe I will become a gym rat. I'll probably start going every day for a couple hours. I've also came up with a fun way to do flutter kicks and push ups. Do them during a basketball game. Do as many push ups while one team is on offense, then flutter kicks when the other team is on offense. It helps me take my mind off what I'm doing! And I know what you mean about being sick. I'm trying to pretend that I'm not sick, but it's not really working!

Wow, that is a good idea, I should try it, even though i'm not that in to basketball. Wow, I wish I got out of school tomorrow, we still have 8 more school days :( and I have a TON of work to make up from being sick, but I will probably spend all day, every day after I get out playing tennis, running, or just working out.

ALMOST 33 DAYS LEFT!!!

With 1 hour and 2 minutes left here on the East Coast, I would like to stray away from the countdown for a sec and wish ds52262 a Happy Birthday!!! :)

(I spotted it in the other forum...) ;)

Happy birthday to ds! :)

Thank you. :)

Yeah, happy birthday!

happy birthday ds! may God bless you and your family :)

32 days, and happy birthday yesterday!
