<p>I was admitted by UCSD for Fall 2013. My major is chemical engineeing. I had a TAG contract for provisional adimission with UCSD . There is one requirement that I must get a IGETC certification by the end of spring 2013. But unfortunately, I could not finish IGETC by the end of spring 2013. Except this, I have done everything including of major courses and minimum IGETC requirement. My current GPA is above 3.84 and I am outstanding that I have described in my personal statement.
Because I did not read that IGETC requirement carefully when I applied for UCSD TAG program, I did not think IGETC is required for my major at that time. So I applied for TAG program for UCSD. At that time, I did not think this would hurt me a lot. Recently, I have contacted with UCSD transfer center and have told my situation to them. I hope they can change my offer from TAG applicant to normal applicant.
They said they would give me a final decision when all my official transcripts have been received. They will evaluate me again but as a normal applicant.
If so, I will take a risk because I have to deny other UC schools before June 1st.
I want to hear some opinions from you. Depending on my current GPA and all major courses I have done, do you think if they can remain my offer even though I violate the contract.
Hope get your reply asap, I will appericiate you so so much!!!</p>
