@SJShark,

thanks, as for IGETC, it is not a requirement for TAG but a lot of people get the IGETC out of the way at CC.

I know this is my first post, but I been lurking this forum for a few days now. I am so excited and relieved that my tag to Davis got approved. dances

Congratulations Sunita! Your fall 2013 TAG has been approved. You must complete the following UC Davis TAG requirements that include filing your application for admission this November. Please carefully review all information.

Meet UC eligibility and campus requirements by the end of spring 2013 term and remain in good standing.

Units:

You completed 48.67 semester/73.00 quarter transferable units when your UC Davis TAG was signed.

YESSS I GOT THE TAG!!!

but…something is concerning me. according to my CCC GPA… i have a 3.36
and according to the TAG I have a 3.41
Does anyone else have this problem or know why it’s like that?
I don’t want any misunderstanding between now and the end of the semester x_x

Are u counting non transferable classes in your CCC GPA?

I have never taken a non-transferable class @xanderian

Maybe you made a mistake on te TAG? Check it again

My CCC GPA is 3.3 and my TAG GPA is 3.46 and I have taken many non-transferable classes. x_x That because I was placed in a lower math class and I worked my way from algebra to calculus II. I suck at math.

@Xpecial
I know how you feel man. Had to work my way up to. Just about to take Stats in Spring -_-

@xspecial
the math test for CC’s is ridiculous I am not even bad at math and I tested into Algebra 1! I’m up to business calc now and I’ve gotten above 95% in every math class along the way and done more teaching then learning.

I don’t get it I passed precalc in high school why couldn’t they have just set me back 1 years and put me in Algebra 2 (introductory college math). I got 100% on the English section but that didn’t mean I got to skip 101 so why make me do 2 math classes just to get to the intro! Ugh. Anyways thats my rant. I’m just happy that I will only need 2 years of CC and will graduate with all my HS peers.

Mrrandall: if I end up going to UCSC, I’m going to request you as roommate for the dorms man hahahahahah.

@Ramsfan

If you go? haha and yeah or at least meet up. It must be said now though, I’m a 49ers fan…

@mermaker: i’ve went over the TAG and my CCC classes/ GPA/ everything and they are all the same!

@xpecial: yeah dude that is what i’m saying. like why are our CCC gpa’s not the same as our TAG gpas? that’s hella scaring me lol. why are our TAG GPA’s HIGHER than our CCC gpa… i mean i’m down with it if like there are no consequences or whatever. i dunno!
